In order to be competitive tonight, the Canucks will need a better performance from their goalkeeper Arturs Silovs. He allowed five goals on 27 shot attempts during Saturday’s loss. Those five goals were the most he has allowed in a single game during the NHL playoffs this year, so he will try to play better tonight in Vancouver.
The Canucks will also need to play better offensively, as they are playing against the best scoring offense in this year’s postseason. In order to keep up with the Oilers during game 7 tonight, the Canucks offense will need to feature their two leading goal scorers Brock Boeser and Elias Lindholm.
