  1. Cantonese or Hong Kong Style?
    Our sweet and sour dishes are either 'Cantonese style' (which is the same as 'Hong Kong Style') or Sweet and Sour 'Balls' (thick battered). Our Cantonese style is cooked with the sauce, onions, peppers and pineapple. Whereas the Sweet and sour Chicken or King Prawns balls come with a separate pot of sauce.
  2. How hot are our Chillis?
    Our chillis range from 15 to 35mm and have a low to medium kick to them, they are around 500 to750 on the scoville scale. We can certainly add more if you want or in some dishes remove the chillis.
  3. What is Chow mein?
    Some people confuse chow mein with stir fry and add lots of veg, but chow mein is a noodle dish and should be kept very simple but tasty. We used fine wheat noodles, thin in diameter and does not contain egg, so are great for Vegans too!
  4. What is Crispy Noodle?
    We offer many popular noodle dishes and the crispy noodles is a great meal in a bowl. It has been so popular with people requesting different options, that we now offer a variety of different options on our online app under Crispy Noodle - 'Create Your Own'
  5. What is GFA?
    Gluten Free Available. There are some dishes on our menu which can be made Gluten Free. These are denoted with the GFA symbol. Please specify 'Gluten Free' for every Gluten Free dish you order. Unfortunately there are dishes which cannot be classed as Gluten Free due to the cooking process.
  6. What is Seitan?
    Seitan is Vegan friendly. Is also known as wheat gluten, vegan meat, wheat gluten, wheat protein, vital wheat protein, mock meat and wheat meat. It is made from gluten, which is the main protein in wheat. Seitan is a meat-free option often used to mimic the texture of animal-based meat
  7. What is Tofu?
    Tofu is Vegan friendly. It is high in protein and contains all of the essential amino acids your body needs. It also provides fats, carbs, and a wide variety of vitamins and minerals.
  8. What is Hot Pot?
    Hot Pots are casseroles, they are cooked slowly which helps tenderises the meat. These are inspired by traditional receipes from South China and contain our special combination of ingredients. Prior to serving the Hot Pot is used at high heat to reduce the casserole into a flavoursome sauce.
  9. What are the different types of Noodles?
    Soft noodles: Yellow, Wheat, Thin, Round, as used in our Chow meins.
    Rice vermicelli:White, Rice, Thin, Round, as used in our Singapore Noodles.
    Ho Fun:White, Rice (sometimes mixed with wheat), Thick, Flat, as used in our Dry Beef Ho Fun.
    Udon:White, Rice and Wheat, Thick, Round, as used in our Fujian Mixed Noodles.
    Glass noodles:Clear, Mung Bean, Thin, Round, as served in our Sichuan Broth dishes.
    Ramen: Yellow, Wheat, Medium, Curly, as used in our Big Bowl Soup Noodles.
