HCW announces another Top Chef is coming to Branson Landing | Best of Branson (1)Branson, MO – HCW and Branson Landing proudly announce a new partnership with Brass Ring Hospitality LLC and Award-winning Chef, Collin Thornton. Chef Thornton to launch new venture in the Branson Landing, Ozarks Brasserie, Restaurant and Bar.

Chef Thornton has a distinguished 30-year culinary career working at some of the world’s top luxury hotels and resorts. From Southern California’s Five Star, Five Diamond, St. Regis Monarch Beach in Dana Point, to the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto, home to the largest hotel kitchen in Canada, and previously held positions at Fairmont Hotel MacDonald in Edmonton, Alberta; Fairmont Southampton in Bermuda; the historic Fairmont Chateau Laurier on the Rideau Canal; and Fairmont Orchid on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Most recently leading the food and beverage program transformation at Bass Pro Shops, Big Cedar Lodge, Americas premier wilderness resort, where he oversaw a team of 650 colleagues and over a dozen food and beverage offerings. From Top of the Rock’s Osage Restaurant transformation into a world class Steak house; to the reopening of the historic Worman House as a French Bistro; opening Tall Tales Bar & Grill in Hollister to the kitchen design and construction of the newly opened Finely Farms, Ozark Mill and Garrison restaurants, Chef Thornton has brought world class dining to the Ozarks.

“I am here to stay,” stated Chef Thornton. “After years of travel and experiences my wife, Whitney, and son Seth are thrilled to call Branson Missouri home. Looking forward to bringing Ozarks Brasserie Restaurant and Bar to Branson Landing this spring.”

Chef Thornton joins the ranks of popular Branson Landing restaurants; Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen and Guy Fieri's Kitchen + Bar among another fifteen restaurants at the 95-acre entertainment venue. The Ozark Brasserie will be the only French/Italian restaurant in the development, opening at the former Ramata Italian’s lakeside location across from Guy Fieri’s restaurant.

Ramata closed its doors to the public on March 6th and will reopen as Ozarks Brasserie, Restaurant and Bar this spring after a retooling and rebranding as a Classic French Italian Eatery. Featuring fresh seafood and European classic cuisine, Chef Thornton and his team of culinary superstars will partner with Missouri’s finest purveyors and farmers to bring the bounty and pride of the mid-west to locals and tourists alike.
