What is the guarantee on L or barista? ›

What's the warranty period for the system? The L'OR Barista system is backed by a two-year limited warranty.

Coffee does not come out of my L'OR BARISTA coffee machine. - Check that you still have enough water in the tank to make the coffee of your choice. - The water tank is not positioned correctly. - Check that the water tank is correctly positioned on the coffee machine.

A L'OR Barista has the same brewing system as the Nespresso Original. This also makes coffee with a capsule under a 19-bar pressure. The advantage of the L'OR, as opposed to other machines, is that it can make 2 cups of coffee at the same time. This way, you can make a double ristretto or double espresso.

Although our machine will not work with K cups or other large-size coffee capsules, the L'OR Barista will work with alternate Espresso (small) capsules such as the capsules used in other espresso machines.

Barista training courses are fantastic for giving you a head start and learning the theory, but the majority of your knowledge is gained through experience and practice. I've been making espresso based coffees for nearly four years, and my latte art is definitely still a work in progress.

How often should I descale my L'OR BARISTA coffee machine? The L'OR BARISTA coffee machine must be descaled at least once every three months. Begin the descaling process when the ristretto and lungo button are both blinking.

You can use the L'OR Barista Milk Frother to make hot and cold milk foam or even to heat milk.

Espresso and Lungo are the two main coffee extraction sizes used with the Original system. An Espresso is a 40 mL shot of coffee (small cup button) and contains coffee of a finer grind. A Lungo is a 110 mL shot of coffee (the large cup button).

A: The coffee machine takes major supermarket pods, together with those from Nespresso and Starbucks, but ONLY accepts the small pods that give a single shot. If you want a double shot then you can buy XXL coffee pods exclusively from L'Or: they also sell their own small pods.
