Harrison Ingram suffers minor injury setback in recent draft workout

Former UNC forward Harrison Ingram took an inadvertent elbow to the face in a pre-draft workout with the Orlando Magic on Sunday and will be sidelined for the next 3-5 days after receiving stitches. The UNC men’s basketball team will have challenges in November, but the Tar Heels also will have three games that shouldn’t test them much. Bill advances requiring UNC and NC State to play in basketball and football every year

Under the measure, which cleared the House committee on universities with no debate, the football and men's and women's basketball teams at UNC and N.C. State would be required to play each other at least once annually. The bill also would direct the Tar Heels and Wolfpack to play ECU, Appalachian State, or Charlotte at least once every year. Michael Jordan trading card sells for $2.9 million

Another Michael Jordan trading card has broken a record. A signed one-of-one 2003-04 Upper Deck Jordan card sold Saturday for $2,928,000, according to Goldin Auctions. The figure sets a record for any Jordan trading card. Goldin's website shows nine bids were submitted on Saturday for the Upper Deck card. There were 38 total bids made on the card.
