Bride's Attire Given in marriage her father, the bride wore formallength gown of peau de soie featuring long pointed sleeves and a bateau neckline. The empire bodice was trimmed with lace and decorated with pearls and bugle beads.

The bottom of the A-line skirt featured a wide band of hand clipped Chantilly lace. A lace-trimmed detachable court train appliqued with roses complimented the gown. Her fourtiered veil of pure silk imported English illusion was arranged from a double crown of pearls highlighted with crystals. Her bouquet consisted of white rosebuds, carnations and white orchid attached to a lace and satin covered Bible. Maid honor was attired in a formal-length gown of turquoise crepe with a flowing train with empire waist and satin trim.

She wore white elbow-length gloves and carried a heart-shaped bouquet of turquoise mums and carnations. Her headpiece was A crown of aurora stones and pearls with a three-tiered fingertip veil. Bridesmaids wore gowns styled identically to the maid of honor's, with the junior bridesmaid's gown in a deeper shade turquoise, They carried similar floral arrangements. Abraham Barras will sup pervise a showing of Haggadahs, the book used to tell the story of Passover and the Seder. In May she will be initiated in absentia into Phi Kappa Phi, a national scholastic honor, society. Before returning home, Miss Rakshys plans to visit the parents of one of her German professors in Solenges and to tour major cities in Germany and the Netherlands.
