Overview
Trap is a badge glove added on July 23, 2022. It is obtained through the Brick Master badge and is required to get the 🗿 glove. Visually, this glove has a pattern of what looks like steel plates on a black canvas.
Obtainment
Obtaining Brick Master:
To earn the Brick Master badge, a player must place 1,000 bricks using Brick’s ability in a single life. Upon placing the 1,000th brick, an image of Saul Goodman from *Breaking Bad* giving a thumbs up will appear on the screen. This badge cannot be obtained in private servers.
Fastest Time to Obtain Trap:
The fastest possible time to acquire the Trap is approximately 1.3 hours (1 hour, 23 minutes, and 15 seconds) using an auto-clicker without interruption or maintenance. If done manually, it takes around 1 hour and 45 minutes, potentially up to 2 hours.
This glove is NOT obtainable in Private Servers
Tips
- If possible, you can have a person to slap you three times with Balloony. Afterwards, you can fly to the place where the chain is hanged under Default Only Arena.
- Try to find a server with less players, especially during times like 9-11 PM, as there will be less players trying to kill you. Just make sure it isn't too low as the server could be filled by players trying to find a small server.
- You can use a Cloud to stay in the air away from the chaos.
- You can parkour to reach one of the small branches on the big tree in Slapple Island.
- Under Slapple Island during Christmas, there is a big candy-cane-like object coming out of the soil, you can hide on it to go underneath Slapple Island.
- During Halloween on the West Island in the Normal Arena, there is a small scarecrow coming out of the soil on the edge of the island.
- If you are in an empty server in NO ONESHOTS GLOVES, you can use it as an advantage as nobody can join you from the Roblox servers tab. Although your friends can still join you through the portal.
- It's best to not leave your device plugged in with a charger when trying to use a macro, as it can severely damage your phone and charger the same.
Ability
The ability is called "Bear Trap." It spawns a red bear trap beneath the user. After a few seconds, the trap will start glowing gradually, and is now only visible to the user. Previously, the trap would spawn as a silver-gray color, however, it has been made red for the user. Bear traps will automatically de-spawn after 30 seconds. If someone steps on one, they will be trapped for a few seconds or until someone hits them. After being freed from the trap, the victim will temporarily lose their legs, restricting their mobility and slowing their movement speed. Traps can be spawned midair and during God's Hand's Time Stop. Traps are affected by gravity, and the user can be caught in their own trap, giving them the 🗿 glove.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- It can remove your victim's legs, making the walking physics unnatural.
- Your opponent will have a difficult time moving after having their legs removed.
- Mobile/Tablet players will automatically jump occasionally due to Roblox's mobile auto jump. This can be an annoyance for these players.
- Your opponent will have a difficult time moving after having their legs removed.
- The trapped opponent is unable to move, allowing to get a free slap.
- Because there's a time delay before placed traps can trap someone, you are able to double jump using the bear trap.
- By double jumping on a bear trap and then placing another while on the ground, you will teleport to the location of the last bear trap. This can be used to escape certain situations.
- Bear traps can be placed in areas that might be inconvenient for other players like bridges or at the top of the ladder that leads to Slapple Island.
- Can be used to camp islands.
- Since the trap is mostly invisible to other players, it's hard to detect where it is.
- Can be used to block Tycoon’s conveyor items.
- Stepping into a trap nullifies the knockback of some projectiles such as Ping Pong.
Cons
- Players can still jump and move after they get unstuck from the bear trap.
- You can trap yourself in your own bear trap, however it does award you the 🗿 glove.
- The bear trap, when spawned, has a tiny delay before it can snare players.
- Traps are not permanent and disappear after 30 seconds.
- Using bear traps to double jump is considered glitch-abuse and can get you banned from the game.
- The bear traps are small, and therefore easy to jump over.
- Speedrun is not affected by the slow movement.
- Players can still see the bear trap once it has been placed, albeit with a large transparency. This allows them to completely avoid the trap if they're looking for it.
- The glove takes a long time to obtain (minimum 1 hour, 23 minutes and 15 seconds).

Trivia
- This is the 2nd glove to affect a user's avatar (removes the legs). The first is Golden, making the player's avatar yellow. The third is rob, turning the player into rob, the fourth is Alchemist, turning the player’s avatar to Grug (one of the Slap Battles testers and Tencelll’s friend, also featured during Blasphemy's cutscene) by using the Grug potion, the fifth is Slapstick, turning the user’s avatar into a troll avatar that changes based on RNG and their amount of slaps and the sixth is Beatdown.
- Spawning a trap and quickly jumping through it makes you double-jump.
- Stepping into their bear trap gets the user the 🗿 badge.
- If user places a trap on The Plate, it will fall into the void because it's impossible to deploy on moving parts.
- The idea was used from a glove idea. It would've been a chance-glove with the badge titled "painfully pain." It was obtainable by spawning a brick with Brick, and with a rare chance you would get the badge (this was probably changed due to it being too similar to bob’s obtainment).
- The trap became highlighted in red and more visible to the user of the glove in a later update.
- If users double jump on the bridge to the right island and then teleport to it they could go on top of the [REDACTED] area.
- If a user gets stuck in a trap and uses the parker emote they will be glitched and be launched off the map.
- If you trap yourself in your own trap when a Tycoon blows up near you, you won't be moved by the explosion.
- You can safely get bricks by having a Balloony user slap you 2-3 times and flying to the chain attached to the default only island.
- Exploiters can grind for trap in just 20 minutes (exploiting is prohibited).
- By using Defense, you can get stuck in the ground and only a small select of gloves will be able to reach and kill you (read the Defense page's trivia to know how to do so). Although, it can be considered glitch-abusing and is never recommended as you can get banned by doing so.
- There is a glitch where you can easily get Brick Master by getting Guardian Angel effect and then getting hit by a fully charged Home Run, then you character will get stuck up in the air and you will be invincible (this is considered bug abusing and can get you banned, and or get your slaps rest).
- Bear traps can be stacked onto each other, causing a chain reaction of all the traps activating when a player only steps on one. This does not decrease their speed further than it already does, but it can be used to drop players on the bridge into the void by making more of a stair formation with your traps.
- The Badge Icon is a reference to Spongebob Squarepants, specifically from the episode Snowball Effect
