What is the hardest level on Civ 6? ›

A city isn't conquered until its health is reduced to zero by a Melee, Naval Melee, Anti-Cavalry, Light Cavalry, or Heavy Cavalry unit. Ranged, Naval Ranged, and Siege units can't conquer a city on their own; their attacks will only ever reduce a city's health to one.

Notes. A game lasts until the year 2050, or 500 turns on a standard game. A Score victory merely means that a player's civilization survived to the end of the game, and perhaps outlasted other leaders. This victory is least satisfying, although completing it on a high difficulty is still a challenge.

In general, it is recommended that players settle their cities quite close to one another in Civilization 6, and four tiles in between City Centers is a reasonable rule of thumb. It is much better to go wide and build many smaller cities than to try to go tall with just a handful of high-population cities.

In general, if there is space on the map then it is almost always a good idea to be establishing further settlements in Civilization 6, and players can thus freely expand without much concern for having too many cities.

In general, fans should almost always try to keep the cities that they capture in Civilization 6, as they are worth, at the very least, the Production associated with building a Settler.

Indeed, Plains (Hills) are the absolute best terrain on which to place a city in Civilization 6 because they yield one more Production than any other terrain in the game when settled.

Wonders in Civilization 6 grant their owners a variety of different bonuses, and obtaining them can give players a huge edge over their opponents. That said, not every Wonder in Civ 6 is created equal, and while some can be completely game-changing others are simply not worth building in almost any instance.

Gameplay. Players have an interesting choice before them when a Great Scientist appears in their city: use the Scientist to immediately complete whatever tech they may be researching at the time or have the Scientist settle in their city and provide a substantial bonus to Science production in that city!

Why do builders disappear in Civ 6? ›

In Civilization VI there are no more Workers. Instead there are Builders that disappear once they complete a task. Builders construct their projects immediately, but only have three charges.

There isn't a "best" difficulty, it's personal preference. It's a matter of preference and the conditions of the map.. I play on immortal but on a ludicrously size map with 25 or so civs. I also got a mod that allowed 12 religions to be founded.

When focusing on the main objectives, Sid Meier's Civilization VI is about 23 Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 382 Hours to obtain 100% completion.

The fastest victory conditions bar none are Conquest and Religion. Both can be blitzed incredibly quickly with the correct civ on the correct map layout. (As in sub 100 turns fast).
