- Not to be confused with Reaper, the server-restarting entity.
The Grim Reaper is a very special pet. It's meant to be powerful, due to it only being obtainable by cooking the Grim Reaper's potion, one that is meant to be very hard to create, very similar to the Mauve. It is dangerous even without using its ability, for it is one of the only pets that can do the following.
- It can do an AOE attack (one swing of its scythe can hit multiple targets).
- It can attack players directly even if they're mounted on a pet.

Skill[]
The Grim Reaper's ability summons Death itself, spawning with the appearance of a huge reaper with the power to deal heavy damage. Its invocation also has an incredible reach that can hit you near offscreen, along with a very large AOE swing. Killing it would be pretty difficult as well due to its massive 3,000 HP. The invocation lasts for 2 minutes.
Strategy[]
When against it, it's useful to wear a fairy cape and a biome hat to mitigate the melee damage caused by the reapers. Rock pets and electric pets can be used to effectively put the reapers down. If you don't have either pets of this particular type, spiking is also a useful tactic. Do make use of natural buildings (trees, rocks, etc.) against the invocation, for they have a hard time moving around and often get stuck.
When using it, your only bets to place are the reaper's melee capability. fairy hat can buff the melee damage of the reaper and having 3 of them can potentially one-shot melee a target. You can effectively take out dragon, spectrum, and combat type pets, but you must be wary of rock/electric pet users.
Challenges[]
Trivia[]
- This pet is one of the only pets that are fairy type without any secondary element, along with the Genie and Enchanting Gaze.
- In the real world, the Grim Reaper is a berobed skeleton wielding a scythe that causes the death of the person by collecting their soul.
- A scythe is ordinarily used as a gardening tool, but when associated with the Grim Reaper it is depicted as a weapon.
