Swords are weapons that can be used by the player in order to inflict strong damage to other animals or players. They have a medium range and a quite slow speed, however that is compensated by their large hitbox and high damage.

  • Spears have a far larger range, however their hitbox is much smaller than swords, they also do less damage.
  • Daggers are far better than swords when comparing attack speed, however they have a far smaller hitbox, range and damage.
  • Axes gather resources more efficiently, however their attack speed is slower, and they do less damage.

Another version of the sword is the katana. It can be unlocked at Age 6, at the Golden Katana.

Trivia[]

  • Swords were added in the first update, alongside spears and axes.
  • In general, it takes 3 hits to kill a player with a sword. An exception to this is the stone sword, which only does 30 damage, taking 4 hits to kill a tamer.
  • The stone sword is generally considered the strongest Age 1 weapon, due to it's large DPS and range which can easily decimate new or mobile players who find difficulty healing.
