Using a good quality multi-purpose compost, pot up your plugs into 10cm pots. Once your plug plants have been potted on and labelled, water them in well and grow on for around 5-6 weeks. Water once the compost starts to dry out.
If preferred you can pot on the plugs into hanging baskets, flower bags or pots. Add a slow release plant food likeMiracle-Gro Slow Release All Purpose Plant Foodto your compost which will give extra nutrients for strong and healthy plant growth.

All you need to know about growing nemesia, in our detailed Grow Guide. Nemesias are colourful annuals and short-lived perennials, bearing wonderfully fragrant, colourful flowers from late spring right through to autumn. Nemesias originate from South Africa and are frost-tender.
Nemesia plants will grow best in full sun, although they will tolerate a few hours of part shade or partial shade. 2. Water to keep the soil moist. Take extra care to not overwater your nemesia, which can lead to stem rot.
You can store the plant in a greenhouse or basem*nt if you would like to keep your plant alive over the winter. Nemesia responds well to deadheading or removing spent flowers.
The red elderberry grows in temperate regions and is native to regions including North America and Europe. It prefers a temperature range of 32 to 95 ℉ (0 to 35 ℃) and can tolerate a variety of temperatures outside of this range.
For the best performance, plant in a location that receives full sun (a minimum of 6 to 8 hours daily). As the summer heat intensifies, consider moving plants to a spot sheltered from hot afternoon sun to prolong their bloom period.
Keep the soil consistently moist to help the plant form a robust root system. This flowering beauty likes damp conditions, but too much water can cause root rot. Water Nemesia when the top few inches of the soil are dry.
Nemesia is also a good choice for parents and pet owners since this long bloomer is non-toxic for children, dogs, and cats. Nemesia is not dangerous, but it is also not a food source, so be mindful of children or pets around this plant, especially if they are curious and prone to putting things in their mouths.
African daisies, coneflowers, salvia, perennial verbena, and low-growing, clump-forming ornamental grasses grow well with nemesia. Not only do they thrive in similar conditions as nemesia, but they are also fabulous nectar plants for attracting beneficial pollinators to your garden.
Nemesia Fairy Kisses are simply fabulous, producing five months of incredible flower power and wonderful fragrance too. They're the perfect addition to patio pots and baskets.
Pollinator Attraction: Nemesia's nectar-rich flowers attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies to the garden. This benefits the Nemesia plants themselves and contributes to the garden's overall health and biodiversity by supporting pollinator populations.
With a flowering season lasting months, these short-lived plants (mainly annuals and perennials) are invaluable for bedding but probably best in containers and baskets, crammed in with other seasonal plants such as osteospermums and diascias for a summer-long display.
A compact and upright little evergreen perennial with well-scented, pretty lilac-pink flowers that have yellow "eyes" in the middle. Confetti Improved is frost hardy, unlike most Nemesias.
Nemesia fruticans is a perennial that is used mostly as an annual. It grows up to 600 mm in height. It has many slender erect stems which branch freely, emerging from a woody taproot. Stems have numerous, narrow, serrated leaves which are denser near the base of the stem.
Nemesia are only half-hardy, so you'll need to overwinter them in a container in a frost-free greenhouse. To propagate plants, take softwood cuttings in late summer.
Although nemesia is typically at its peak from spring through early summer, it will often remain in bloom until frost in climates with cool summers, giving you a long season of interest.
