Aquilegia Songbird Cardinal produces a skyward-facing showy flower. In hot dry climates, provide partial afternoon shade.

An evergreen perennial, the Liriope muscari Big Blue is an improved version of an older variety. Blooms are followed by clusters of black berries in the Fall.
