What is PowerSchool SmartFind Express? ›

PowerSchool Unified Talent SmartFind Express software is a cloud-based software designed to streamline the substitute teacher management process for educational institutions.

SmartFind is used to Call Out for jobs where you have the opportunity to accept a job or top-up. You will use this program to accept or cancel a job that you have previously accepted.

If you try to sign in three times incorrectly, you will be locked out of the PowerSchool Parent Portal. You will need to contact the school to be unlocked.

If you have logged into SmartFind Express for the first time, then your access ID is your Pin. For Employees and substitutes that have forgotten their password, they can use the forgot password link on the login page of SFE to recover their password.

Description. This is the SmartFind Express Mobile App for substitutes.

Your Access ID is your Employee ID Number. When the system asks for your PIN, enter your Access ID again, followed by the star (*) key. You will be asked to record your name. Record your name and when you have finished recording, press the star (*) key.

To cancel the absence, click the Cancel Job button. The system will notify the substitute of the cancelled job by placing a telephone call to the substitute. If the assigned substitute does not need to be notified of the cancellation, uncheck the “Notify the substitute of a cancellation?” option.
