Is Leaf Brands still in business? ›

Leaf was responsible for producing such candy classics as Whoppers®, Milk Duds®, Jolly Rancher® and Rain Blo Bubblegum®, just to name a few classic Leaf brands. Today, the company, based out of Newport Beach, California, is reviving some of your favorite candies from yesteryear.

History. Leaf was founded by Bruno Grangier, a French lawyer who has been based in China since 2004. After working in Hong Kong, France and Shanghai for several years, Bruno Grangier founded Leaf to address Mid-caps and large groups investing in China and developping their distribution networks in China.

Hydrox was largely discontinued in 1999, three years after Sunshine was acquired by Keebler, which was later acquired by Kellogg's which in turn sold the cookie line and the rights to the Keebler name to Ferrero SpA. In September 2015, the product was reintroduced by Leaf Brands.
